Helena’s newest in-home senior care agency ready to begin making a difference
July 13, 2021
Helena, Mont.—The newest in-home care agency to Helena is looking to bring much-needed care to aging seniors and individuals with disabilities all across Lewis and Clark County. EPAGA Home Care, which began serving families in 2007 in Kalispell, has brought on healthcare veterans, James (center) and Michelle Olson (left) with help from Julie Ford (right). These long-time Helena residents know first-hand how important it is to keep families together in the safety of their homes.
As a former long-time manager of an oxygen supply company in Helena, James Olson has many connections with the stakeholders who help manage the health and safety of seniors in their homes. He has worked in the healthcare industry for nearly 3 decades, and has developed strong leadership skills through his experience assembling care teams and executing quality healthcare plans for families of diverse backgrounds and circumstances.
Michelle Olson has a diverse background in healthcare, project management, and end-of-life care that will undoubtedly serve EPAGA’s future clients well in Helena. Michelle began her work in healthcare in the dental industry, where she found her passion for caring for those in moments of distress. Through her gentle and kind demeanor, she developed deep interpersonal skills identifying nervous patients and bringing them comfort as they underwent dental procedures. Michelle then had a transformational career in end-of-life services, garnering valuable experience working in funeral homes throughout Helena. By embracing every challenge with her unreserved empathy, she helped support countless families in navigating through some of the most difficult circumstances of their lives. It was in this role of carefully and tactfully managing end-of-life decisions that her servant's heart blossomed; she then whole-heartedly understood what it meant to serve others with the highest form of love; Agapé love; God’s perfect, brotherly, unconditional love.
Agapé love lives within their third counterpart, Julie Ford, as well. A long-time friend of both Michelle and James, Julie has worked in the dental field for over 30 years, helping patients understand several different aspects of complex dental procedures. She has extensive experience and capabilities in training and supervising staff members, which allowed her to ensure that each patient she served received the highest degree of care possible. With deep family ties to the Helena area, Julie is excited to continue serving her community through top-notch care in the home health sector of the healthcare industry.
This all-star team is ready to hit the ground running as they open their new home care agency for business on July 19th. The motivated and highly-skilled trio hopes to serve families who value having the best care for their loved ones through experienced and deeply-vetted EPAGA Accredited Caregivers.
